Dope KNife // Alunar Landing // Myles Bullen | Sentient Bean | Wed., July 20
The brilliant Dope KNife brings his potent hip hop to the Sentient Bean on Wednesday, July 20, alongside Alunar Landing and Myles Bullen. It's a stacked lineup of excellent music, and it shouldn't be missed. Dope KNife is arguably the best hip hop artist to come out of Savannah, and his latest single "So 912" proves it.
This show starts at 7pm, and the cover charge is a sliding scale from $5-$20.
Sentient Bean: 13 E Park Ave
Basik Lee | Totally Awesome Bar | Fri., July 22
Speaking of brilliant local hip hop, the legend himself, Basik Lee, will be at Totally Awesome Bar on Friday the 22nd for his 'One Man Show.' Basik, a hip hop champion who hosts Hip Hop Nite at Victory North (formerly at The Jinx as well), is one of the best voices we have for the genre in Savannah.
This show is 21+, and there's no cover. Music starts at 10PM.
Totally Awesome Bar: 107B Whitaker St
Bloodkin | El-Rocko Lounge | Sat., July 23
Legendary Athens band Bloodkin has played in Savannah numerous times over the years, and it's always a good time. Things look a little different these days, following the May 2021 death of founding member Daniel Hutchens. Hutchens' co-founding bandmate, Eric Carter, has continued to tour and honor Hutchens since the songwriter's passing, playing songs from their back catalog as well as songs from their latest offering Black Market Tango.
Tickets are $20 and doors are at 8PM.
El-Rocko Lounge: 117 Whitaker St.
