Miracle on 41st St. First Annual Holiday Block Party
Get together for a neighborhood shindig block party featuring the Jay Ram Four performing A Charlie Brown Christmas. Seasonal menus by Sixby, Lone Wolf, and Moodrights. Artisanal vendors and fun to be had by all. Stick around until late night to check out Lone Wolf’s sixth annual Fernet ball. Craft Together, Bring Your Own Craft

Free Yoga in the Park
This ain’t your typical lululemon yoga class. Get your stretch on with free yoga in the park this and every Wednesday with instructor Danette “Dani B.” Bauer. Each class is sixty minutes, and open to all skill levels, with breathwork, inclusive language, physical modifications. Bring a mat, water, make a new friend. Class sponsored by Collins Quarter, behind their building, on the north side, in Forsyth Park. Free. 6 p.m.
Yuletide Tours at Davenport Museum
Through Jan. 4, 2025, See how the Davenport family celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holidays on their docent-led seasonally themed tours. Yuletide Tours also include access to the Urban Enslaved Exhibit, an immersive experience that sheds light on the lives of the thirteen enslaved individuals who lived and worked at the Davenport House. Guests will gain insight into how these individuals observed and were impacted by the holiday season. Tickets for adults are $15, students $12, and children $10 (kids under 6, free). Think & Drink with the Scientists
Share a glass of wine with marine scientist Dr. Laura Treible at Late Air Wine Bar, Thursday December 12, 5-7 pm. Free. I don't think you're ready for this jelly(fish) expert! Come talk nerdy with us! 2805 Bull St. Dr. Laura Treible is an assistant professor of marine science at Savannah State University. Her research broadly focuses on gelatinous zooplankton (e.g. true jellyfish, comb jellies, and other plankton made of jelly) and their response to changing environmental conditions such as temperature and salinity. Recently, she has been working with data collected with high-resolution underwater cameras to determine the abundance and distribution of gelatinous species in coastal Georgia.

It’s a Small World: Fundraiser to Benefit Asheville Artists
Come pick up some art from local artists to help our Asheville artists impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene, organized by local artist Maxx Feist. This is a hundred percent donation to the artists in Asheville who were impacted by Hurricane Helene. Pick up a small gift for yourself or a special someone. You can also purchase raffle tickets with chances to win art or gift certificates. This is a perfect time of year to give to those who have lost so much.
